The HSC mournes the passing of two members:
- HSC 1479 DF5DR, OM Karl Breitenbach deceased on March 2010 at the age of 89. Karl has been
associated to us for 22 years.

members are indebted to him for recommendations. As a very swift operator he was also a member of
VHSC, SHSC and EHSC.
Ham code of conduct: There is no doubt that the on-the-air behavior of hams, especially in CW
pile-ups, has turned worse in the last time, sad to say. We would like remind those it may concern of
the Code of Conduct enunciated exemplarily and worth reading on the site
http://www.dx-code.org
Our secretary Jo, DF4EK, told about the Ham Radio fair from June 25 to 27th at Friedrichshafen:
Our booth was again a well frequented place for HSC members and friends of quick telegraphy, so at the
end more than 170 names from all over the world were inscribed in the visitor’s book. Joe DL4CF got
again a trophy for his first place in the HSC Marathon 2009.
Emil DL8JJ showed his attachment to the HSC by a donation to the booth team: His book about his
impressions as a mountaineer in the high Alps. CW beginners had occasion to work on Ken’s training
station DL8LBK, who donated his computer to the HSC for activities in the future. The remote station
of Toffy DJ6ZM, which allowed CW QSOs on shortwave from his base station in Munich via a web-based
link, was again a highlight.
We are looking forward to the Ham Radio 2011.
The next HSC Bulletin is on September 4th 2010.

The HSC bulletin was the topic of the General Meeting of HSC on April 17th 2010 in Erbenhausen
during the CW weekend. Invited by the secretary DL1TL reported about the importance of this primary
publication medium sent by radiotelegraphy for an unstructured CW club and as a connective link
and hallmark of the HSC.
DL1TL suggested to set up an editorial staff warranting an actual monthly emission also in
the future, and he invited all HSC members to cooperate and contribute and to preserve this heritage
